Courtney Crayne, MD

Dr. Courtney Crayne is originally from New Orleans, LA. She graduated cum laude from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY before earning her medical degree from UAB. She completed her Pediatrics Residency in New Orleans at Tulane University. She then completed fellowship training in Pediatric Rheumatology at UAB.  During her time at UAB, she earned a Master of Science in Public Health and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.  Dr. Crayne is board-certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

After devoting several years to clinical research, Dr. Crayne left academia at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic to practice primary care.  Dr. Crayne’s strong passion for mental health, specifically ADHD and related co-morbidities, led her to open Focus-MD Trussville where she is able to dedicate her clinical practice to helping patients with ADHD maximize their potential across all domains.

When she is not in clinic, Dr. Crayne enjoys spending time with her two wild boys, running, and watching football.  She is also an avid reader and welcomes any book suggestions!
